The bill (Reg. No. 4487) suggests withdraw the National Guard from administrative and military–political management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, delegate functions of the latter to the President of Ukraine and commander of the National Guard, introduce control of the Verkhovna Rada over personnel policy and activity of the National Guard, and reject fixed total number of the National Guard personnel.
The Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which will allow ensure parliamentary and social control over the National Guard, and extend opportunities of its efficient use.
